BACKGROUND/TRAINING

Dr. Panish is a Nevada and New York licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Panish received her BA in Psychology from Baruch College-City University of New York.

Dr. Panish received her MA and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies, Adelphi University.

Dr. Panish completed her clinical psychology internship at Bellevue Hospital Center and Gouverneur Hospital in New York City. The Bellevue internship is based in the Department of Psychiatry of Bellevue Hospital Center and is affiliated with the New York University School of Medicine. Both hospitals are fully accredited by the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Panish received certification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Los Angeles Institute & Society for Psychoanalytic Studies

Dr. Panish has worked in a wide variety of settings, which include adult corrections in the New York City jail system, acute inpatient psychiatric care, and outpatient mental health care. Dr. Panish also provided individual, family and couples psychotherapy to the New York City firefighters who suffered as a result of 9/11.

Dr. Panish is also a former adjunct professor at Baruch College-City University of New York where she taught Child Development & Introduction to Psychology.
